Back Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4

Back in the modeler.

Import the don template (always scaled x100).

Draw a box as a belt part. Convert the box to editable mesh and in the front and side views adjust the verticies as shown on the left.

In the perpective view, being in face selection level, select the 2 bottom faces and extrude twice. Back to vertex selection, adjust the verticies in the front view.

Now, use the edge selection level and the cut tool to divide the face between the legs.

Back to vertex selection, adjust the verticies created in the front view, as they have to be exactly centered.

In faces level, select in the perspective view the 2 faces of the right leg and extrude twice. In the front view and in vertex level, adjust the verticies as shown on the left. Take care to the crotch which is the most difficult part in pants.

Do the same work for the left leg.

Select and delete the faces at the top and bottom of the pant.

Now apply a meshsmooth modifier with 3 iterations. You should get something like this. Not fine, but poser will correct this.

Before exporting your obj, like we have done for the shirt, add a planar UVWmap modifier, collapse the stack and affect a material.
