First piece to simulate : the bodysuit.
Extract the zip file to your poser 5/6 directory with the "use folder names" box checked. The files will be extracted at the right place in your poser download directory.

Launch poser and load your victoria 3 character.

Dont forget to uncheck all the inverse kinematiks parts.

Select Victoria body.

Using Window -> Joint Editor, click on Zero Figure.

 

Add now if you need any hair and body texture

Select figure1 (Victoria) body and go in windows:walk designer.

If like me you use several runtimes, you will perhaps have to use the "figure type" button to load the victoria 3 cr2 file.

Then click on walk and move the arm out dial to near 35% to avoid arms collisions with the crinoline.

Stop the walk. Click on apply.

Then choose the options as in the image on the left.

We will generate 120 frames to use only the frames 46 to 105 in a loop. The walk cycle is composed of 30 frames, and as we start from the zero pose with a 15 frames transition, we will get 3,5 cycles.

The first cycle is generally not usable as the cloth movements come at the beginning from the transition and not from the walk (the loop will not be acceptable). 

 

Then select the Downloads directory and open the Poserfashion Dir in Props.

Load V3 Crinoline Part 1

 

The  prop will fit exactly  the character zero pose.

Now go to the cloth room.

Create a new simulation with 120 frames. Check Cloth self-collision. Don't use Drape frame as your cloth already fit to the zero pose.

 

Clothify the underdress.

Click collide against, then check only the parts of the body which will collide with the cloth : in this case, hip, abdomen, chest, left and right collar, left and right buttock . Uncheck "start draping from pose"and the 3 "ignore collision" boxes.

 

 

The dynamic groups are saved with the cr2, so you should not have to create them again.

Otherwise, select in the constrained group the top of the bodysuit (from the shoulders to the waistline) and in the rigid decorated group the materials "button" and "lacet" .

So we will let flow only the bottom of the bodysuit.

You can now launch the simulation and have some coffee before you get this. (the fact to mix dynamic and constrained slow down any simulation, moreover if you add rigid and/or soft decorated groups).
