Extract the zip file to your poser 5/6 directory with the "use folder names" box checked. The files will be extracted at the right place in your poser download directory. |
Launch poser and load your victoria 3 character.
Dont forget to uncheck all the inverse Kinematiks parts. |
Select Victoria body.
Using Window -> Joint Editor, click on Zero Figure. |
Then select the Downloads directory and open the
Poserfashion Dir in Props.
Load the cloth 1540 under
The prop will fit exactly the character zero pose. |
![]() |
Now Go to the cloth room.
Create a new simulation with 60 frames. Check Cloth self-collision. Don't use Drape frame as your cloth already fit to the zero pose.
Clothify the skirt
Click collide against, check your figure (Victoria), let the default parameters, uncheck "start draping from pose", check the "ignore collision" boxes for head and arms. (you can also select only the collision parts ; hip, buttock, tigh, shin, foot)
Select "Edit constrained group" and constrain the verticies all around the top of the skirt. |
| Set your animation to 60 frames.
On frame 30, load the pose you want to work on. (We keep always 30 frames free to allow the cloth to steady).
Now, run the simulation |
Back to frame 1, load the cloth 1540 over.
(You can see that the dress is closed to allow you to create differents clothes. All the textures use transparencies. The size of the dress can also allow a train). Like in step 7and 8, create a new simulation. In collide against, choose the skirt (robeav2) and the parts of victoria needed (don't check hip and legs). Run a new simulation. Because of the sleeves, this one can be long (you can try to uncheck cloth self-collision) |
Before rendering, you can choose in materials one of the 3 textures provided....or create yours. |
This item work well with the default dynamic parameters, so you don't need to change them. |
